After a small break, Dirt Crew sister label SPIEL is back with a new EP from Leipzig based producer Good Guy Mikesh. These gems are all about shimmering melodies full of acid and cool electro vibes. Mikesh has always explored and crossed the boundaries of indie and dance and throughout the years made a name for himself with numerous releases, remixes and collaborations on Riotvan, Keinemusik, Permanent Vacation, Mirau and of course Dirt Crew and his last SPIEL release named “Cookies EP” in 2016.

The opening track “To the Global Village” has turned out to be quite the Hymn of this EP, with it’s irresistible vocal sampling and bright strings this one will surely be the perfect early morning “break of day” kind of track and we can’t wait to drop it on a big sound system soon! For the radio and streaming there is a special shorter version added heren as well.

“Setting” is a deep laid back electro disco tune that builds up to a great acid climax and the following “Meltdown” has that same pace and propels us to Italo-Disco grounds complete with cowbells and spooky synths. Closing out with the monstrous “Extra Level”, BIG 90s rave synths, played straight and reversed make this one a real belter and refer to the golden days of early house and techno.
