KLAVES (otherwise known as Mikolaj Gramowski) is a Polish producer based in Reykjavik. Over 4 years after his last release Klaves his taking new turn with a 4 track ‘Illusion Of Peace’ that explores new ideas and sounds. His new music is a mixture of warm, sample based percussion breaks with dreamy, melancholic analog synths.

Born and raised in the city of Poznan in Poland, Mikołaj grew up fully immersed in a hotbed of musical inspiration. He eagerly sifted through his parents jazz collection and mastered the art of piano as a young teen, but it was his discovery of dance and electronic music , that led to the birth of Klaves. In the past he shared the stage with likes of Nicolas Jaar, Four Tet, Ben UFO, Laurence Guy, and got support from various radio DJ’s ranging from Gilles Peterson to Annie Mac. Besides his own releases, he has also produced some extraordinary remixes for the likes of The Beach, Lucy Rose or Honne.
