Emotional Tourist has been firmly in the crosshairs of our scope for some time now, as someone we think is making some of the best deep and melodic sounds around. The Bucharest-bred boy has stepped onto the scene this summer with tracks full of hopes and dreams releasing on the likes of XYZ & Kindisch. He now launches his own label – Mixed Feelings – as a platform to harness the tones that have spread wide over the last few years.

“I feel like now is the perfect time for a new challenge. Mixed Feelings is a project that emphasizes the moment we fell in love with music. That is about moments and timeline memories we created, easily accessed through a simple chord, or an emotion. Or both,” notes Emotional Tourist.

The label is built with thinking about our different notes of happiness, and also strings of sadness that we all find ourselves dealing with at some point in our existence. Mixed Feelings dropped their first single today – a collaboration between Emotional Tourist and Izhevski. “La Rambla” is a combination of summer vibes, very smooth and clean atmosphere with cool organic grooves.
