Released back in 2020 as EI8HT’S eighth release, label boss Eats Everything unleashed the ‘8 Cubed’ EP on the imprint he curates alongside Andres Campo. An EP brimming with modern and utilitarian high-tempo techno jams, the bustling collection featured eight club pumpers, showcasing the pacier side to Eats’ sound.

Two years on, and a raft of remixers have been enlisted to reinterpret, rework and remix some of the tracks from the release. On Volume 1, Italian techno titan Marco Faraone serves up a tight and relentless groove on his remix of Voicenote, featuring the guest appearance from Chi-town house royalty Felix Da Housecat. And Bristol-based rising star edetto locks in a rattling and rasping version of ‘Wreckage’.
