Contemporary house tastemaker DAVI once again showcases his sublime studio skills with a new remix of ‘Dive2′ by the exciting new electronic talent, SANJAY. This minimal yet hypnotic track dropped on Friday 31st March 2023 and marks another innovative take on the music of SANJAY following on from the esteemed likes of VIVa label head Steve Lawler and multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated Swedish producer Zoo Brazil.

DAVI is based in Los Angeles and is one of the creative forces behind the city’s vibrant underground house scene. Soon after arriving in the city having studied at the prestigious Komitas State Conservatory’s music department in his native Armenia, he established his name as a DJ playing cult clubs like Playhouse, Avalon, and Vanguard before making his international mark.

Over the last decade, Davi’s cultured studio sounds have come on top labels like Crosstown Rebels, All Day I Dream and Rebellion, and have taken him to high profile DJ sets all across Europe and North America. He brings rich emotions, artful synth craft and evocative atmosphere to everything he does, as exemplified by this new remix of SANJAY.

Davi’s remix is spine-tingling and layers up deeply hypnotic house drums with enchanting synth work. SANJAY’s alluring vocals drift amongst a mystic atmosphere with a serene sense of spirituality set to cast a real spell on the dance floor.

SANJAY has emerged onto the world stage as a producer with a genre-bending sound that mixes live with electronic, and as a DJ who works the floor like no other. A multi-talented artist, engineer, guitarist and singer, SANJAY only debuted in 2021 with his ‘Initiation’ EP of which the ‘Dive’ original featured, but soon got the attention of the biggest names in the scene in to remix his work.

His ethos is ‘Music is Medicine’ and so it proves to anyone who hears him play. His style is influenced by living in the Joshua Tree desert in California and spinning deep and dancey sets on the playa at Burning Man as well as touring the globe with members of the Gypsy Kings.

SANJAY is soon to unveil a much anticipated new album, more remixes and all new one-man live show. Davi’s remix of ‘Dive2’ is a mouth-watering taste of what is to come.
