Mason Maynard steps out on The Martinez Brother’s renowned Cuttin’ Headz label for his new single, ‘You’.

When it comes to young talent forging their reputation amongst the scene’s elite names, Manchester’s Mason Maynard shot into the spotlight early and has remained among it since. Founder of his own Xscape imprint, following a wealth of material via Hot Creations, Sola, Whipping and Saved, his groove-led sound has meant he’s been a favourite of the scene’s biggest names, including Seth Troxler and Jamie Jones, ever since being tipped as ‘One To Watch’ by the likes of Billboard. Featuring alongside The Martinez Brothers at the end of August as he joins them at their Ibiza residency at Hï Ibiza, the bubbling UK talent first serves up a killer new single on Cuttin’ Headz as he makes his debut on the label in style with the release of his new single, ‘You’.

Fusing funky guitar licks with sharp-edged percussion and a bumping bassline, ‘You’ quickly builds into a slinking house groover before the track’s soulful and hooky vocals take hold and take things into new spheres. Vibrant and rich, yet tough and hypnotic, this one is a record made for summer.
