Global Underground present their landmark ‘THIRTY’ album. Thirty artists, thirty brand new exclusive tracks, to celebrate thirty years of bringing you the very best electronic music to mark their 30th anniversary.

In 1996, Global Underground launched, taking DJs from being anonymous figures spinning tunes in darkened DJ booths, to playing parties in the most exotic clubbing locations on Earth, capturing the night and the visit to the city in music. Since then, Global Underground have consistently been pioneers. Ever evolving and always championing the future of electronic music.

Many of the thirty tracks have made massive mark upon dance music over this summer season., with several tracks charting on the Beatport No.1. Progressive dance music has made a huge comeback in the hearts of the dancefloor, and Global Underground have been at the very centre of it.

Since being announced earlier in the summer, four singles from ‘THIRTY’ have reached Beatport #1: Guy J’s single ‘Rise,’ with its rhythmic bassline arpeggiated synth 3D soundscape has been a global hit, instantly transporting you back to the beaches, fields and dancefloors of a balmy August. Dave Seaman and Quivver‘s ‘Starship Disco’ mixes progressive with a 70s sci-fi aesthetic, the hypnotic cyborg female vocal taking you on a journey to the dark star.

Simon Vuarambon’s ‘Stamina’ starts as a dark and broody late-night track, before the most beautiful and joyous synth topline lifts you up and out of your body. Trilucid & Phil Martyn’s dreamy masterpiece ‘Atlas’ sits where melodic and trance embrace on the dancefloor. Now add Nicky Elisabeth, Yulia Niko, HotLap, Spencer Brown and a very special collab between the legendary Nadia Ali and Frankey & Sandrino and you will begin to feel why this is such an important album.
