Despite having what already looked like quite a formidable lineup Electric Picnic has stepped it up once more today with the announcement of a host of new acts. In total thirteen names have joined the roster (all listed below) with three in particular really catching our eye.
Man of the moment disco pioneer Giorgio Moroder is enjoying somewhat of a renaissance thanks to his brilliant part in the new Daft Punk album Random Access Memories. His disco grooves will be showcased to the public with the help of friend and DJ Chris Cox.
Cyril Hahn is another to make his EP bow. The Swiss has been somewhat a regular on these shores of late, enjoying a massive wave of support thanks to his lethal remix of Destiny’s Child Say My Name and a string of tasty reworks.
Finally Irish stars Young Wonder have also made the cut continuing their recent prosperity with a slot at EP. They’re sound and they’ve got tasty tunes! For a look at the full lineup in all its glory click here.
