Dutch producer and DJ Dennis Quin inaugurates his new imprint EARDRUMS with four-track ‘Liberation’ EP.

“I’m beyond excited to launch my new label, EARDRUMS. The idea came to life after someone approached me post-gig and said, “You’ve just healed my  eardrums.” This stuck with me. Eardrums, drums, and rhythm for your ears. It felt  like the perfect fit. EARDRUMS is all about House music, with upcoming releases  from both fresh talent and established names. ‘Pushing Harder’ leads the release, employing Quin’s signature sturdy rhythmic style alongside, choppy bass stabs, breathy vocal chants, and an amalgamation of  intertwined synth melodies. Title-track ‘The Liberation’ follows next, stripping things back to skippy snares, shifting stabs, and soulful vocal lines all subtle nuanced throughout.

The aptly titled ‘Muscle’ follows, a robust dance floor workout featuring raw saturated drums, snaking resonant leads, murky bass tones alongside bumpy breaks, low pitched spoken word and airy textural elements. ‘Tough Beat’ then concludes the EP, laying down a bumpy off-kilter rhythm section with twitchy bleeps and a cinematic breakdown.
