Argentine producer Mayro returns with a darker, edgier shade of progressive house on his new ‘Want You’ EP, landing on Sprout with two cuts that balance driving energy and atmospheric depth. Based in Buenos Aires, Mayro has built a reputation for blending the immersive qualities of progressive with a sleek, club-focused sensibility, and this latest outing captures that balance perfectly.

The title track ‘Want You’ is built around a rolling groove, shadowy textures and a hypnotic melodic pull that slowly draws the listener deeper into its world. Its companion ‘Riser’ pushes the tension even further, layering propulsive rhythms with a sharper, more refined edge, making the EP a tight package for both peak time moments and longer, deeper journeys.

Over the years, Mayro has released music on respected imprints such as Anjunadeep and Tronic, while also running his own label, Traful. His eclectic productions have earned support from scene heavyweights including Hernán Cattáneo, Nick Warren, Deep Dish and Eelke Kleijn, and he keeps carving out his own lane with a fresh dose of attitude.

Founded by D-Nox, Sprout has become one of the most dependable catalogues in melodic progressive house, serving as a home for groove-led, forward-thinking club music. With ‘Want You’, Mayro adds another striking chapter to the label’s story.

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘Want You’ exclusively on When We Dip Radio. Enjoy!
