Few foreign festivals are as established as Croatia’s famous Hideout, and year on year organisers seem to up their game, offering five days of pure electronic music hedonism. From the 25th until the 29th of June, Zcre Beach will see thousands of revellers descend upon its banks, and with a lineup that caters for dance music fans from all backgrounds we’d suggest you pay attention, as things are soon to be hotting up in Croatia.

Despite only the first phase of artists being announced, there’s already something for everyone. Of course the usual suspects appear from the tech house side of things, with Patrick Topping, Eats Everything, Darius Syrossian and Lauren Lo Sung all making an appearance. From the more underground side of things we’ve got Appolonia, Hunee, Mall Grab, Jeremy Underground and Joy Orbison, with South Korean star Peggy Gou also playing.

So there’s some of our favourite house picks, but into the bass abyss we go. From the drum and bass side of things we’ve got Andy C, Chase and Status, Wilkinson, and jump up supergroup SASASAS. Then from the bassline side we’ve got Flava D, Holy Goof, Darkzy, and Skepsis. Expect plenty of gunfingers and plenty of screwfaces.

Now then, the countdown begins. Only the first phase of artists have been released and we’re already spoiled for choice, and there’s no doubt Zcre Beach is an ideal backdrop for some sumptuous beats in the sumptuous Croatian sun. Check out the 2017 aftermovie below to get you in the mood, because it’s time to put wheels in motion people, Hideout is coming round fast.

Hideout Festival Croatia lands on Zcre beach from the 25th until the 29th of June. Tickets available here.
