Movement Recordings welcomes back one of its most trusted regulars as Maze 28 delivers ‘The Observer’, a powerful two-track EP that arrives alongside remixes from label boss Tash with Simos Tagias, and from Ricky Ryan with Futura City.

The title track ‘The Observer’ opens the release with a tension-filled narrative. Built around undulating basslines and expansive atmospheres, it rolls forward as a flowing progressive journey packed with peak-time energy, the kind of record that holds a room in the palm of its hand. Its companion ‘Fidelio’ heads down a deeper, more hypnotic path, with fluid rhythmic pulses and emotive synth layers slowly unfolding into an immersive, club-effective experience.

On the remix side, Tash joins forces with fellow Greek talent Simos Tagias to turn ‘The Observer’ into a muscular peak-time weapon driven by heavy low end and tight, contoured percussion. Ricky Ryan and Futura City then close the package with a take on ‘Fidelio’ full of rhythmic mutations and drifting, cosmic atmospheres.

Based in Albania, Maze 28 has quickly become a driving force in the international progressive house scene. Beyond his regular appearances on Movement, his intricate productions have landed on labels such as Anjunadeep Explorations, Mango Alley and Meanwhile, including his album ‘Leave The World Behind’ on Mango Alley. He also serves as A&R for Electronic Groove Records and recently brought his sound to the Balance Croatia stage, earning support from many of the genre’s leading tastemakers along the way.

Run by Greek DJ and producer Tash, Movement Recordings has spent years building a reputation as a home for forward-thinking progressive and melodic sounds, alongside its sister imprints Movement Limited and Astral Records. With ‘The Observer’, Maze 28 adds another high-impact chapter to the label’s catalogue.

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘The Observer’ exclusively on When We Dip Radio. Enjoy!
